On one of issue streets in Walnut Creek was a beautiful little wine bar that anyone walked past and it looked reasonably busy. It was still as red as could be (not brick orange as you might expect an older wine to become). Examples of the latter are: cloves, blackcurrant bud, saffron. Is it possible to tell the scent of a real cinnamon stick for cloves?
